Dear Sport Martial Artists, Friends and Families,
I’d like to solicit your help in professionalizing amateur martial arts tournament-level competition into a major league sport where competitors of all martial arts styles will be given an opportunity to represent their city/state team in a national championship similar to the Super bowl, called “The Kumite.”
I’m not talking about the brutal events you see on pay per view. I’m talking about the less brutal competitions that take place in our communities almost daily. You know the competitions where tots start at age 5-7 with their little safety helmets learning how to kick and punch? For decades in America, various genres of martial arts have languished within the limitations of their respective communities thinking a martial arts sport has to not only be believable but effective and that has translated into the brutal events seen on pay per view
Did you know?
18.1 million Americans took part in some form of martial arts at least once in 2010, according to a Simmons Market Research study. Not surprising due to the many benefits this activity brings to its participants. Which include discipline, coordination, improved cardiovascular health, muscle tone, mood, and weight loss as well as camaraderie. There are over 500 amateur sport martial arts tournament circuits supported by 16,295,623+ competitors left somewhat untouched from the numerous MMA Competitions you see on pay per view, and that number doesn’t include those that have stopped competing, participating or retired.
My goal is to take the martial arts tournament night-time finals, package it and provide another venue choice for family fun and entertainment to be enjoyed throughout America as a professional sport with co-ed teams competing nationally like the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball. To be successful in this endeavor I we will need sponsors, sponsorship sales, marketing, event planning and exposure, and I need your help to get there.
As of this date I have less than 12 weeks til the NMAL Team Eliminations, in which we are looking for the cream of the crop, America’s Top 32 teams to prevail in a three-day competition to be hosted by the Columbia Marriott July 19-22, 2012 in Columbia, South Carolina.
I have provided here vital information for you to review that provides details of the opportunities available. Feel free to contact me for your queries, I welcome your support and would be happy to answer any questions and or custom design sponsorship packages.
I look forward to your support in making this event a smashing success. Thank you for taking action.
